Technicians (Engineers Below) Independently performs a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions such as removal and installations of airframes, landing gear, engine components, electrical components, and control systems to assure conformance to procedures, performances and test specifications. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1. Fabricate and install seat covers, curtains, various assemblies and subassemblies. Interpret material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. 2. Sew, fabricate, and install covers for all styles of panels in the aircraft interior while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards and goals. 3. Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work. 4. Complies with and champions Safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and ensures the protection of aircraft interiors (PTP). 5. Mentor and train lesser skilled technicians and monitor their work to ensure they complete assigned tasks in accordance with required levels of safety, quality and productivity. 6. Works with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements that increase safety, reduce cost, cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma and other process improvement techniques. Additional Functions: 1. Accepts Lead responsibilities when needed. Oversees projects and coordinates with Lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians. 2. Conducts safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits. 3. Assist in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs. 4. Performs other duties as required. Other Requirements: 1. Possess a working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications. 2. The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. 3. Must be computer literate. High school or GED. Upholstery, seats, carpet Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1. Perform complex high quality repairs and polishing to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture in the shop and on-board aircraft. Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods. 2. Interpret material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with Design group to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples. 3. Complies with and champions Safety, 5s, and housekeeping policies and ensures the protection of aircraft interiors (PTP). 4. Mentor and train lesser skilled technicians and monitor their work to ensure they complete assigned tasks in accordance with required levels of safety, quality and productivity. 5. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: 1. Communicate as required to receive and understand work assignments. Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision. 2. Coordinate with MTL, 3. Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications. 4. Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely. 5. Follow standard operating procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.) 6. Essential Functions:
1. Consults with internal, external customers and Engineering to identify current materials necessary to create/revise technical manuals to support the department/corporate operating priorities. Provide input to management on new processes or technology for integration into the Technical Publication business model. Develops complex solutions to overcoming the technology/technical issues introduced by outside suppliers for incorporation into existing manuals.
2. Conducts, reviews, analyzes, technical documents required to gain a thorough understanding of how complex systems operate and are required to be integrated into technical manuals.
